Thank you for choosing Sidebar CRM Pro. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and handled when you use our Chrome extension.

1. Information Collection and Use

Sidebar CRM Pro is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. The extension operates entirely within your browser and stores your data locally.

• Local Storage: All the profile data you scrape, template texts you create, notes you write, and settings you configure are saved exclusively on your local device using Chrome's local storage.
• No Remote Databases: We do not send your CRM data, scraped profiles, messages, or habits to any external servers, databases, or third parties.
• No Tracking: We do not track your browsing behavior, and we do not use analytics software to monitor your usage of the extension.

2. Permissions

To function correctly, Sidebar CRM Pro requires the following permissions:

• activeTab and scripting: These permissions are required so the extension can read profile information (name, headline, profile picture) from the specific LinkedIn or X (Twitter) page you are currently viewing when you click "Save Profile". The extension only accesses the active tab when you explicitly interact with it.
• storage: This permission allows the extension to save your profiles, templates, and settings to your local browser storage.
• https://api.gumroad.com/*: This permission allows the extension to communicate securely with the Gumroad API solely for the purpose of verifying your license key if you upgrade to the Pro version.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Your Control: Because your data is stored locally, you have complete control over it.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete all your CRM data at any time by uninstalling the extension or by clearing your browser's local extension data.
• Export: You can export your data to a CSV or JSON file to keep a backup before uninstalling.

4. Third-Party Services

• Gumroad: If you purchase a premium license, your transaction and license key delivery are handled by Gumroad. We only check the validity of your key against their API. We do not store or process your payment information. Please review Gumroad's Privacy Policy for more information on how they handle your data.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
